Community Guidelines

Version 2026-10

PsychPanda Community is a free, peer-led space for doctors and healthcare professionals preparing for the MRCPsych CASC, Paper A and Paper B. These guidelines keep it useful, professional and safe.

1. Education and peer revision only

This is not a clinical consultation service. Nothing posted here is medical advice, and you must not use the community to seek or give advice about real patients. Follow your local supervision and governance arrangements for clinical questions.

2. Never share patient-identifiable or sensitive information

  • No names, dates of birth, addresses, hospital numbers, images or any combination of details that could identify a patient, relative or colleague.
  • Be cautious with “anonymised” cases — rare presentations, locations and dates can still identify someone. Use clearly fictional scenarios instead.
  • Don’t share confidential information about your employer, trainers or colleagues.

3. Respect exam confidentiality

  • Do not post recalled, leaked or reconstructed questions or stations from live Royal College examinations.
  • Discussing topics, techniques, structures and publicly available material is welcome.

4. Be professional and kind

  • Treat others as you would colleagues. Critique ideas, not people.
  • No harassment, bullying, discrimination, sexual content, threats or unwanted contact.
  • Don’t impersonate anyone or misrepresent your role or grade.
  • Practice sessions are peer sessions: turn up on time, cancel early if you can’t make it, and give constructive feedback.

5. No spam or unsolicited promotion

Don’t advertise paid services, courses or products, or repeatedly post the same content. Sharing genuinely useful free resources is fine.

6. Privacy and safety tools

  • You control what appears on your profile and whether you appear in Find a Study Partner.
  • Members can request a practice session with you from the directory. You can decline any request, and blocking someone stops them requesting sessions with you.
  • You can block any member. They won’t be told.
  • Use Report on any post, reply, message, profile or group. Reports are confidential — the reported member is not told who reported them.

7. Moderation

Moderators may remove content, restrict posting or suspend accounts that break these guidelines. Serious concerns (for example, risk to patient safety or a breach of professional standards) may need to be escalated appropriately. Contact us at bookings@psychpanda.com.
